“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Luke 18:16a

Jesus took children seriously, and so do we.  We celebrate children, and seek to integrate them fully into the life of the church.  So what does that mean?  Well, it means that, just like Jesus, we welcome children:

In Worship.

Singing, praying, being in fellowship; nurturing the gifts they’ve been given for the building up of the entire body.

In Baptism.

We believe that baptism witnesses to the truth that God’s love claims us before we are able to respond in faith, so whether you profess your faith or are presented in faith as an infant or child, we will, after proper instruction, baptize and welcome believers and their children into God’s covenant love.

In Communion.

Christ has set the table for us, and all are welcome.

In Discipleship.

We promise to bring up our children in the care and nurture of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and we seek to do that by demonstrating God’s love always, through Bible-centered teaching and activities that reinforce those lessons.

In Service.

Whether we’re collecting cans for the Souper Bowl or quarters for Heifer Project,  making cards for shut-ins or placemats for prisoners, our children learn early on that being a disciple means serving others, and that there is always something you can do, regardless of age or size.

Infant/Toddler

We have childcare available, for all those newborn through 3 years old, during all major church events. Our Nursery Coordinator does an excellent job of making sure your youngest are in the best of care.

Visit our nursery, Room 103, and see for yourself.
